2013 Results
Thanks to everyone for entering in the various competitions we run during the show. You are one of the many reasons why we run the show and are an extremely valued element. The results for all the sections are being added as they come in, they can be found here.
How are we doing?
Each year we try to make the show a fantastic experience for everyone involved, however, sometimes we don't get things exactly right. As such, we need to hear from you on how we can improve. Let us know what you thought of the entertainment in the main arena, the exhibits and any other tidbits you can think of. We would like to thank everyone who was involved in running/attending/volunteering for this year's Show. Without our dedicated team of volunteers putting in countless hours of time and effort it would not be possible. Without our local community members helping drumming up advertising the show would simply not be possible.
The society has embraced social media
This year the Castle Hill show is utilising our Facebook page as an interactive medium between itself and its stakeholders. We will be offering a variety of information including important updates about the status of the show, how the weather might affect the show, our entertainment schedule and more. We will also be offering promotions exclusively through our Facebook page so be sure to like our page!
Showgirl 2013
Unfortunately this year saw a loss for our beautiful Kate Leckie. We would like to say thank you to Kate for representing the society for the second year running and wish her all the best.Congratulation to Lauren McKay and Sally Ormiston who will progress to the Royal Showgirl competition held later this year. Each year we run several events including our iconic Castle Hill Show and our Spring and Twilight Horse Shows.
We value your participation and input by becoming a member, exhibitor or visitor. Please remember that the Castle Hill and Hills District Agricultural Society (those great people that bring you the show every year) is run mainly by volunteers. Without their dedication and help, none of this would be possible.
