NSW Premier, the Honourable Barry O'Farrell, opened the 2012 Show

The Premier of NSW, the Honourable Barry O'Farrell, opened our 126th Annual Show.

We were excited and delighted with the Premier’s attendance and his support for the local community. The Castle Hill Show is run by the 'The Castle Hill & Hills District Agricultural Society' (a community focused volunteer organisation) which supports and works with other community organisations including Rotary and numerous others. The Premier’s personal attendance recognises the hard work that goes into organising and running the Castle Hill Show and how it supports our local community. 

NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell has guaranteed the future of Castle Hill Showground by saying the North West Rail Link will be built on the southern end of the site, by Carrington Rd in his opening speech.
