Young Farmers Challenge

The YFC is an engaging, entertaining and fast paced competition for young people which showcases the breadth of technical skills and knowledge required in farming today.

NEW to the Castle Hill Show. 
This years Showgirl - Katherine Moriarty has prepared some challenges for local youth to partake in. You don't have to be a Farmer or come from that background, you just have to be willing to give it a GO!

Heats and Finals on Sunday 30th March 2014 on Main Arena. Heats commence at 1100 - all participants to be registered by 1000. 
Final will commence at 1415. 

Teams are made up of 4 students (plus 1 reserve) from Years 9 to Years 12. Entering is FREE and it is encouraged to participate as a School or Youth Group.
Clothing is School/Club shirt, jeans (or equivalent), boots (or closed in shoes).
The competition is a series of heats (depending on number of teams) with the Winners being the team that completes all the challenges correctly, and in the fastest time. You must complete every challenge correctly to move onto the next challenge. Each team will have a dedicated judge. That judge will watch every challenge you complete. The Judge's decision is final.
